Every once in a great while, when we're down but we've been giving it everything we've got to keep going, something will happen in our lives to turn it around... Or we think it's the thing that's going to turn it around. A lot of you have known about my recent raise/job promotion. I was so sure that this was the first break in a series, but it was the big one that I had been trudging on for. Now, I don't believe it was. I believe it was a break, and a good one, but not THE "ONE". No, I believe that one came a few days ago. An offer so profound that I had to take it. Something so sure and stable and secure, in this rather clumsy world we're in at the moment. Coming in at twice the amount I'm making currently, along with guaranteed advancement, coupled with endless opportunities; Why the hell would I say no? There is one good valid reason I would have said no. And that reason is mine to keep.

In a matter of days or weeks I will begin a new chapter of my life. Not something completely new, but a rendition of the past, mixed in with the the experience and knowledge that I've accumulated. This beginning will require a leave of absense from the interwebs for a short while. Weeks, months, I do not know yet. I will eventually be back, and I will stay in touch with some select people after the vanishing point. If you do not hear from me, it does not mean that I've forgotten you, it simply means that I'm busy living MY life and setting things so that I can continue to move forward.

A few of you will have questions about this, but at the moment, I don't particularly feel like answering many of them. Leave your question and I may or may not answer it, depending on how I feel at the time. I do not care what anyone else thinks of my decision, or how they may be emotionally impacted by it. This is a logical, rational, and undeniably wonderful opportunity. It just means that I'll be gone for awhile. We must sacrifice some things to be able to grow. And at this point, I believe that I'm not sacrificing a terrible amount, not nearly as much as others. Yet, that is why I am so steadfast in my decision as well. Because I'm not the only one trudging forward through the unstable and perilious expanses of what we call life.

I will be trying to set up one, good, last chance for people who really want to see me, to be able to do so. I would like to have a party, but as luck would have it, I still can't have one... Ah well. I'm not gone yet, so I'll keep in touch.

Yay! Some pictures! OMG! HOORAY! Mwahahahaha!

These are from my trip to Ireland.. I have oodles of them, not all of them are great. I have some other pictures that I'd like to post... but something everyone should know. My camera broke. The entirety of the trip I used someone else's camera, which I -hated-.

I plan on changing this issue in the future, but it'll require money, which I have none at the moment.

If you're wondering why you got a mass amount of favs from me... I had like 1200 deviations to go through. ;) I'm going to try to keep more on top of this in the future. Maybe take a day of the week and make it me "DeviantArt day?" I unno.. .We'll see though! Thank you for your support and for reading my lousy journal!

Well, if anyone actually reads my journal, they would have saw that I am helping a band out as a full time project now! :O I have written a few small pieces and done some art, but no updates, as I'm VERY busy.
HOWEVER! Now you guys can hear some of the fruits of my productivity! :O Jessica Seven (The band) will be interviewed on Extacy Drop Radio on Wednesday night!

There is an interview from last night currently up, but there was far too much awesome on the air, and we BROKE the server. :D So come out, see what I've been up to (I'll be in chat! :O) The band will be taking questions from listeners, so help me grill them! :D

Thank you all!

Helping a band get to stardom. It's tough work, but someone's gotta do it! So please... please help them, and make my life, and their lives a little easier... and maybe a little more food filled!…

One of the greatest webcomic artists took MY idea (actually my gf's) and turned it into something! HOOORAY!…

Go! Look! Be happy! and enjoy Sprinkled Vengence! Or go on to WTTF, where a lot more fun is to be had. :D

I promise to upload something/ a poem.... art... something prettiful and -new-, not some old piece of something I've been holding onto.

Below are 8 unexpected or random things about me, because I've been tagged by :iconthehiddensapphire: (who... btw arts really prettifully! Check her out!) >.>

Rules are:
1. Answer the questions
2. Each person tagged must post 8 unexpected or random facts about themselves
3. At the end of the post 8 more deviants are tagged and named
5. Now go to their page and tell them!!

#1- Despite popular belief, and what you may have heard, I am not one of the following: bi-sexual, gay, female, an angel, innocent, nice, harmless, fluffy, neko-kitty vamp (I know the redundancy)

#2- I enjoy all kinds of music, from classical to rock to VERY select rap (think Run DMC)... I am quite the connoisseur of music.

#3- If I were to combine my knowledge and abilities with money and materials... I'd have left the planet long ago, and have started searching for a new one.

#4- I graduated in the top 10% of my class... although I almost failed my senior year. I also started college early (which I haven't finished/don't plan to finish).

#5- I was raised on a cattle farm... believe it or not. Deep down in my heart, I still wish I had a farm, with horses and lots of land to ride...

#6- I'm a helpless romantic, and a sucker for petite women... It has proven to be a more viable weakness than I would have ever suspected.

#7- I know who killed JFK, and how long he stayed in a coma.

#8- It takes an average of 36 seconds to successfully track any one person to a specific 3 foot by 3 foot area on the globe...

Ok Question time.

1. Why did the chicken cross the road?
A: Well... you see, this is quite a complicated and lengthy story... First, why was their a road there in the first place? How long had it been there... Where did the chicken come from? All questions not easily answered... but put simply.... The chicken crossed the road because some decades earlier a group of quibbling, balding men were arguing about the best route to lay down a double lane paved highway for the populous  of the surrounding area and chose this very spot as part of their GLORIOUS plan. Shortly there-after a swath of destruction ensued, decimating everything in it's path (houses included). A few long months later, another crew came through and layed down a black tar-like substance, rolling it over before painting it... They called it... a road... Now, the chicken, unbeknown to the planners, whether they cared or not, enjoyed his daily walks... until today... When he witnessed that the path he walked EVERY DAY had been finally paved over by this black... horridly wretched crud... But, lest he walk only HALF the distance he did for his daily exercise... he crossed anyway.... And that... is why THIS chicken crossed THAT road... and got flattened by THAT steam roller...

2. What would you do if you see yourself standing in front of you?
A: The last thing I'd do is touch myself, never know how paradoxic situations work... it could destroy the universe, kill one of me, both of me, create another me (oh gods...), or isolate me and me to our own private dimension... You never know... unless you try... But, I'd not touch myself, that'd be the safest bet. ^^; Remember, if you run into yourself, no touching yourself at night (or day)! :D

3. What's the best excuse people used to hangup on you?
A: "Dude! The Mounties are beating on my f'n door... I gotta run! They may want to deport me back to Canada."

4. What's the worst thing, in your opinion, you did in the last 7 days?
A: Slept with my pistol in hand?

Now... to tag some people....

I understand that there may be some misconception about my personal faith/beliefs. However, one should realize and come to the terms that NO ONES beliefs are exactly the same. And I -am- ordained, and in a spiritual position to where I can perform the priestly duties attributed to such a position.

So, is it disrespectul? Or... rather.. is it too disrespectul?

Lemme know... I don't wanna offend anyone. (much...)

Support our troops, not the war. V for Victory. It matters not why we fight, who we fight... all that matters is that our troops win and come home safely. Screw Patriotism, Screw who's better and badder, screw why we're there... All that matters is that we want them home, and that will not happen unless we win. So V for Victory. Ya, I could go into a V like epilogue using massive V words... but, this isn't a joke, this is real.. This is life. In World War II the extending of the middle and the index finger, palm out, stood for Victory on the Battlefied. It can still mean the same thing today. So, help pass this movement on, not for ourselves, not for our country... But for the soldiers out there who are long past due at coming home... Help lift morals... Just smile, and say, "V for Victory."

As of this Wednesday of June 21, 2006 Michael T. Karr A.K.A. Pico Paco was arrested and detained in the Arkadelphia Drunk Tank for 3 hours until bail and restitution was paid. The total payment was $990.00, cash. All and all, I know that I'm one lucky S.O.B. And I thank all those involved GREATLY.
Well, I've just got finished looking through well over 500 deviations... I still have about 68 literary pieces to go through. Sorry that I skipped several of you people's journal entries! But... @.@ Too many friends on the list xD
Speaking of fellow artists... one of my favorites is leaving DA If you'd please take the time to stop in and at least give her a kind farewell... I'd greatly appreciate that.

Thank you for your time. And thank you guys for well over 500 hits so far.
Well... erm...  Update you ask? Yea... sorry.. o.o; My personal life has been trying to jump up and eat me of late... I won't go into all the details, but the main one is that the University has been intent on kicking me out on any grounds it can find. -.-; Needless to say, I've stuck it to them a time or two already... I've been kicked out twice since I enrolled (Jan 14ish) and I'm still in... they tried a third time, I gave em the boot first, so I'm still in... until they say "Oh... erm... You're doing this wrong!!!!" -.- Stupid schools... When can we rebuild them Mr. Bush!?????? oh... wait... gotta finish building Iraq.... and Iran..... and maybe Saudi Arabia... Ah Hell! Let's rebuild the whole God damned world first! :eatshit:and:fork:

I be returnin ta ma' homeland the fift day of this very month... Ye better be on yer toes!
Yea yea yea... I need to update more, I need to post more images, I need to write more poetry.... Oh wait, no one looks at this page anyway.

As of 12-13-05 at 2:40 pm (US Central time) I shall be in the air heading to Alaska for Christmas. I will be returning sometime after Christmas... date still pending. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas, and hope to see everyone when I get back from the cold icy North... And yes, I will be making a HUGE update when I return, so check back in January some time. Thank you guys for having so much patience. And as you wish. I will get lots of pictures of snow and the aurora (if I see it out).
Wow, I haven't updated in a bit...
Here is what's new...
My car has a blown headgasket,
my computer got fried (that's why I haven't been online)
and work sucks...
I now own a MP3 player, with the most awesome music inthe world.... minus a bunch of songs I still want on there >.>mostly anime soundtrack and game stuff... but I have Final Fantasy I on there! :D

hmm... that's about it... worried about my friends... I'll post some more stuff soon, I swear!
Out of the confusion and quagmire of my everyday life, an angel took hold of me and whispered into my ear the words which she wished inked...

I rose up from the darkness without you.
                                              My Amerika.

I took these very words, twisting them, churning them, spitting out something which could be called beautiful...

$35 later, I find myself standing on stage, bellowing out the very creation I had birthed a mere 3 hours earlier.

My cherry was popped, I was no longer a virgin poet, standing nervously in the limelight, ranting out emotional pieces of constipated thought... I no longer have justification of flinging poo at the crowd.

But on to the good stuff.
It was the most fabulous event, 12 contestants, some I have met before, several I had not. I was honoured to be surrouned by such talent the last two nights, it was most surreal and fascinating.

I must extend much thanks to the following poets, for I was extremely honoured to have even been in their presence, much less compete along side them.. In no particular order

-Joaquin (Who placed first)
-IQ (3rd)
-Mo-man and Crisis
-Marc "SO WHAT" Smith (Yes, the fucking man himself)
-Among several others whoms names are fleeting at 3 AM.

Marc, damn man... You invented this shit, how'd you do it??? To shake your hand, it's like shaking the hand of a great ba... wait.. It is shaking the hand of a great bard, it compares to shaking hands with Homer and Shakespeare. To have you pop my cherry... That's like having sex for your first time with Aphrodites herself. I am so deeply honoured, and you handing me your tome, signing it... I'm humbled. And yeah, I did go on after that mic stopped working, cause as you said, I had something to say. Thank you Marc "SO WHAT" Smith

Mo-man... You're my long lost poetic brother, bigger of course. I love ya man, keep it rolling out. You and Crisis rock my grey matter.

Joaquin... This doesn't go out to you.. No, this is a thank you to the State of Texas for the atomic wedgies and noogies you received. This thank you letter goes out to the mothers and fathers that come into your class, glaring at you because they don't understand. This is a thank you that goes out to the Nascar fans that mute the commercials of the African town.

Now this is for you. You inspire me, I regret not having a teacher like you. All too often someone comes along, that you'll never know. Joaquin, you're a damn good teacher, despite what any redneck mother says.
This goes out to Trey,
who is openly gay,
living in Texas this way,
From day to day...
Jon rebuilds radios
He likes the way the static feels in his hands...
Jon is deaf, he sits in Mr.Zihautanejo's class, the bard of the most beautiful words.
Colton, who sits in the back of his class, draped in black, always watching, seen only by those whom matter. Must be a blessed life, being able to avoid those whom just don't care anyway.
This goes out to the people of Africa... Where as Joaquin says, "In Africa, they plant children into the ground and grow Angels... It happens, everyday." And damn it, I don't know if you'll read this or not, but because I care anyway... The Hokey Pokey is what it's all about.
