The Last Stand of a Sad Little Man

Oh Lord, Save Me!!!!
Down upon my very knees,
I scream unto you for salvation.
Yet, even now, I hear not a whisper from the Heavens.
'Lo I heard the sounds of hooves pass,
A voice cried out unto me, as it were, the noise of thunder,
One of the four beasts saying,
"Come and See"
And I saw, and beheld, a white horse.
And the beast turned unto me and quoteth,
"Go forth my child, and unto all the nations bring thy message."
And forth I fled unto the nations of the world
seeking confinement and solace and hope where there was none.
Forward I rode, laying witness to the sins of man and beast alike.
Angels followed, laying witness also unto the destruction brought on.
I wandered on till I reached the end of the known world,
casting a forlorn gaze back at the path I had taken.
All that lay behind me was destruction and ruin.
All that remained ahead was new found land.
I rode forward into the shapeless night.
Until I came unto a land where no eye can see,
no man can be.
And I beheld four beasts upon great horses.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts,
And I looked and behold: a pale horse.
And his name, that sat on him, was Death.
And Hell followed with him.
And, as it were, I am him.
Forsaken until the end.... But not forever.
